As we close 2018, I say a big “thank you” to everyone who read, shared and commented on my blogs. It has been a pleasure to write them (even in the wee hours of the morning as my own deadline looms). I am so grateful for the wonderful Silke, who gets them up and out with “no problem Marguerite” and a smile that somehow traverses the miles between us (she’s in Austria).
As I reflect on 2018, I thought it would be interesting to see what my Top 3 Blogposts were – from your perspective (opens) – and suggest how you might take the learning into 2019:
Number 3: “Forget It! Letting Go and Claiming Joy” in which I introduced my new book. Thanks to all who bought, read, commented on and sent massive love and encouragement. Lesson for 2019? Make a list of every person and situation that caused you angst in 2018, examine why you are holding on, forgive the person, forget the thing/situation, and claim joy!

Number 2: “Lessons From The Cop Who Didn’t Shoot” – this is also one of my favorites, because this cop demonstrated the courage and self-control to do what I hopefully will never have to, but would like to, if ever faced with such a situation. A true hero that inspires the hero in us all. Lesson for 2019? Numerous, but at the least, get very clear on what your personal values are, and commit to acting in alignment with them from now on.

Number 1 – the winner of Marguerite’s top blog for 2018 is ….. “How To Take A Vacation When Everyone In the Office Has Booked Theirs” – this was a surprise, but quite ironic since I have just started my Christmas vacation in London, an intention I set last Christmas. Lesson for 2019? Grab your 2019 calendar RIGHT NOW, mark your vacation dates (even if you don’t know yet what you want to do), and send in your leave application TODAY!

Drop me a comment with your personal favourite and the lesson you taking into 2019.
My wish for you in 2019 is that you claim your joy, recognizing that it lies within you, in your freedom to choose in every moment. No matter what the Universe serves you, may you greet it with grace and joy.

Dear Marguerite,
your thoughts and musings are always an inspiration. My favorite of your posts would be #2, the cop, getting clear on my values and act accordingly, closely followed by #1, I will let go of things and persons who trouble me and reclaim joy!
Looking forward to your 2019 musings!
Best wishes for the holidays and new year to you!
Ulla

Your use of the word “Joy” comes across as uplifting, caring and powergiving.
May “Joy” continue to be yours in 2019.

You are ever and always an inspiration. It is amazing how you take the everyday happenings,
the mundane and ordinary, and sometimes not-so-ordinary, and turn them into life lessons. Thank you for being so generous and sharing of yourself and experiences. May God bless you and your equally amazing family with success, love, joy, and peace in 2019 and always.
Dearest Sharon
Thank you so much for your kind and beautiful words. I shal print and keep your message as inspiration for when a blog won’t reveal itself (it happens).
Wishing you and your family all the very best for Christmas and 2019. I would love to see you and the “children” again – 2019 priority!
Gratefully and joyfully
